What ingredients are in your Glow Functional Chocolate bar?
Glow Functional Chocolate is 100% clean and pure and contains only five ingredients (all certified organic):
Cacao mass (single origin and directly-traded), coconut sugar, cacao butter, Tremella mushroom extract and Schisandra berry extract.
What you'll never find in JOYÀ chocolate: emulsifiers, lecithin, soy, dairy, refined sugar, gums, wax or any other junk.

When should I enjoy it?
Glow Functional Chocolate is crafted with schisandra, a calming adaptogen, and tremella, a skin-nourishing and immune-supporting mushroom, making it the perfect snack or treat any time of day for nurturing your skin, as well as stress + immune support.
How much caffeine is in Glow Functional Chocolate?
Glow Functional Chocolate contains 31 mg of caffeine per serving, naturally derived from the cacao.
Is Glow Chocolate free of dairy, soy, gluten and other common allergens?
Glow Functional Chocolate is considered vegan and does not contain nuts, sesame, gluten, wheat, soy (or soy lecithin) or dairy. However, it is made on shared equipment in a facility that is not free of certain of the foregoing allergens, so there is a risk of cross-contamination, which is why our chocolates are labeled “May contain tree nuts, milk, wheat, eggs”. We do not test our finished product for these allergens and can not make any claims.
Glow contains coconut sugar.
Is it Paleo or Keto-friendly?
Since Glow Functional Chocolate contains no refined/cane sugar and is sweetened only with coconut sugar, it is paleo-friendly.
Glow is not technically keto-friendly, as under accepted industry guidelines, a snack must have 6 or less grams of net carbohydrates (total carbohydrates minus fiber) per serving to be considered a keto-friendly snack. However, Glow could be appropriate for a ketogenic diet if appropriately managed into your carbohydrate intake from other foods throughout the day.
Is it organic?
Glow Functional Chocolate is not certified organic. However, it is made with 100% certified organic ingredients.
How much sugar is in Glow Functional Chocolate?
Each bar of Glow Functional Chocolate contains 7 g of sugar.
Is your chocolate high in heavy metals?
We take safety just as seriously as we do flavor. And, as cacao is unfortunately often high in heavy metals, including lead and cadmium, we scoured the planet, reviewed dozens of cacao origins, and ran numerous rounds of tasting before we found a certified organic cacao that's safe to consume for our Functional Chocolates (we're currently using a Dominican Republic cacao).
And it doesn't stop at sourcing. All of our products are also 3rd party lab tested for heavy metals, as well as other toxins and microbes, so that you can be confident in their purity and safety.
